Yellowstone Trail Fest Kicks off today at 9 am with a swap meet, the car show set up and a biscuits and gravy breakfast to benefit the Knox Band Boosters.
From 10 am until 2 pm a bloodmobile will be on site. Car show judging starts at noon. The Miss Yellowstone Pageant starts at 1:30 pm on the stage. At 5 pm impersonators of Anna and Elsa from Frozen will be at the fest thanks to the sponsorship of Cupcake Corner & Sweet Treats. Saturday will wind down around 8 pm with a mounted cowboy shooting in the arena.
Sunday’s festivities start off quite colorfully. If you’d like to do your part to assist the Starke County Youth Club you can register for the Rainbow Splash 5K Run/Walk starting at 6:30 am. All collected proceeds will benefit the Starke County Youth Club. The Rainbow Splash event begins at 8 am and will leave from the registration destination at the Hamlet Fire Department next to the fairgrounds..
St. Matthews Lutheran Church will present a 10 am worship service on the stage. The Dairy Barn Pavilion will have a steak fry from 11 am until 3 pm. At 12:30 the stage will feature square dancing with the Tippecanoe Twirlers.
Parade line-up will start at 1 pm on Indiana St. The Parade, sponsored by Grow Your Own Garden Supply, will commence at 2pm. Things will wrap up around 4 pm with an ice cream social in the Dairy Barn Pavilion and the festival officially ends at 5 pm tomorrow night.
