Wythogan Park’s newest attraction is nearly complete.
Knox Mayor Dennis Estok told the city council Tuesday that workers are putting the finishing touches on the performance stage. “We’re real close to being done,” he said. “All we’re waiting for is the lights to be hung.”
Once that’s done and the equipment’s removed, workers can finish grading the ground and install the sod. The performance stage is set to open on Saturday, May 27.
