A La Porte man was taken into custody earlier this week on active warrants and new charges of dealing cocaine are pending through the La Porte County Prosecutor’s Office.
Members of La Porte County Drug Task Force and the Fugitive Apprehension Street Team arrested Vandrick Buchanan, 29, on a warrant through La Porte Circuit Court for a revocation on dealing cocaine, a Class B felony, plus a La Porte County Superior Court #3 warrant for failure to appear. Money was also reportedly confiscated from Buchanan during his arrest.
The arrest occurred after complaints of Buchanan’s alleged drug activities were filed against him. An investigation followed and new charges of dealing cocaine are pending as a result of that investigation. The case is under review with the La Porte County Prosecutor.
