Two public libraries are also participating in the Summer Food Service Program. This year the school is working with Blessings in a Backpack which occurs every Friday at each site. Members of the group bring them to each site and pass them out to children as they leave. The goal of this program helps to keep nourishment flowing over the weekend until the lunch sites open again on Monday.
