Pulaski County Time Capsule to be Buried Today

The Pulaski County time capsule will be buried in a ceremony this morning at 9 a.m. at the Pulaski County Courthouse.

The time capsule will help commemorate Pulaski County history and last year’s Indiana Bicentennial. It was on display at the Pulaski County 4-H Fair.

The time capsule will be buried near the southeast corner of the courthouse and will remain there for 50 years. At that time, it will be uncovered and reviewed in a ceremony. Residents will be able to look back at the current events from 2016 and 2017 and items of Pulaski County history and what life was like during this time.

Frain Mortuary donated the burial vault for the time capsule and the county will be covering the remaining installation expenses.
