A few Knox streets are closed for railroad crossing maintenance. City officials say the crossings at Shield Street, Bower Street, Portland Street, and 300 East should reopen by the end of the week.
But drivers can expect some additional closures over the next couple months. From September 18 through September 30, State Road 8 will be closed east of Knox for railroad crossing maintenance. The crossings at U.S. 35 and Pearl Street are both scheduled to be closed between October 2 and October 14.
