Pulaski County Council Adopts 2018 Budget

The Pulaski County Council officially adopted the county’s 2018 budget and salary matrix Monday. The proposal calls for a one-percent pay raise for most full-time county employees. The hourly pay range for part-time employees will also increase by a couple dollars, according to council members.

However, they did not act on next year’s EMS Department salaries. “We’re not messing with that one right at this time,” explained Council Vice-President Mike Tiede. “We’re not going to do anything with that one because they got a raise last year, and they don’t have the matrix done.”

Pulaski County’s 2018 budget now goes to the Indiana Department of Local Government Finance for final approval.
