The West Central School Board approved the purchase of two new buses for the school corporation, according to Superintendent Don Street.
“We’re going to be trading in two, 12-year-old buses for two Collins 78-passenger buses from Midwest Transit Equipment,” said Street.
The cost of the buses is $85,525 apiece. One bus will have a trade-in allowance of $6,700 while the other will have a trade-in of $6,400.
