Medaryville Continues Park Improvements Thanks to Community Foundation of Pulaski County Grant Funds

Medaryville Town Council members continue to fund park improvement efforts with money awarded through a Pulaski County Community Foundation of Pulaski County grant.

Last year, the town was awarded a total of $10,000 through the Community Foundation’s “Love Your Community” placemaking grant. Clerk-Treasurer Judy Harwood said that so far, about $7,888 has been spent on various items including some flower pots, benches and a gazebo for the Medaryville Rest Area.

When members met last Wednesday, they decided to use some the remaining $2,112 for a few more additions.Members cast a unanimous vote to purchase a new flag and flagpole for the park area.
