The Indiana State Police are currently conducting an investigation into the death of 36-year-old Tiffany Witham, of Knox.
The Starke County Sheriff’s Office and EMS were called to a local residence around 2 a.m. on Sunday, June 24th. Starke County Coroner Dannie Hoffer reported that he arrived at there around 2:30 a.m. and Witham was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Hoffer noted the Indiana State Police were also onsite, examining the scene for their investigation.
Details surrounding the manner and cause of death will not be released until an official declaration has been made by the coroner. That information has yet to be determined, as the investigation is ongoing with ISP.
The Starke County Prosecutor’s Office, the Starke County Coroner’s Office, the Indiana State Police and other involved agencies will be coordinating with one another as the investigation continues.
