A progress report on a Pearl Street property was provided when Knox Board of Works members met last Wednesday.
Neighborhood Development Project Manager Rosie Levya provided the update and handed out the schematics of what is planned for the disheveled structure that stands at 6 N. Pearl Street.
Levya noted that the contractor for the project is Trinity Home Improvement. At the time of her report, she mentioned that they hadn’t been on site very much since they were trying to finish up ongoing projects to make time for this one.
Despite that the scheduling setback, Levya stated that the contractors have taken care of some of the renovations. She mentioned that they completed a lot of the work on the exterior framing and the roof has been raised. She said some shingles have been added to the porch and side addition and a portion of the addition has been erected.
Levya added that once the contractor clears their schedule, she hopes they can get back on track with the plan that was laid out originally. The board members had no questions about the project but Mayor Dennis Estok noted that he has seen it and can tell that progress has been made.
