Two Republican Candidates Chosen in Culver Town Convention

The Culver Town Council will have two new faces in 2019. Two seats are open on the Culver Town Council in the General Election.

A Republican Culver Town Convention held Monday night saw Bill Cleavenger and Bill Githens capture the highest votes. Githens had 34 votes while Clevenger gathered 28 votes. Incumbent Sally Ricciardi had 18 votes and Incumbent David Beggs had 2 votes.

The pair will face Democratic candidate Rich West on the November General Election ballot for the two available seats.

There were 44 voters who took part in the town convention held at the Culver Train Depot.
