Francesville Town Council to Review Golf Cart Ordinance

The Francesville Town Council is looking to amend its golf cart ordinance.

According to Clerk-Treasurer Linda Bennett, the council members are looking into changing the license requirement of the golf cart operator. On Monday night they discussed allowing a State Identification Card to be in the possession of drivers in order to legally operate a golf cart. A Driver’s License is preferred, but police would accept a State ID card, if ultimately approved as an amendment to the golf cart ordinance.

No decisions were made during this week’s meeting, but further discussion will take place in upcoming council meetings.
