Body Safety Presentation Delivered to Knox Students

Several parents of students in the Knox Elementary and Knox Middle School joined their students in learning tools on how to advocate for themselves.

Sara Hoyt from Dunebrook Child Advocacy Center in Michigan City gave a presentation that relayed information on positive and dangerous relationships, the dangers of social media, trust, and empowerment of self.

The curriculum was different for each grade level

Elementary School Principal Michelle Tarnow and Middle School Principal Jake Skelly said student safety is important and delivered positive reviews of the presentation.
