Pulaski County has a new EMS director. Brandon DeLorenzo was appointed to the position by the county commissioners Monday, after having served in the role on an interim basis since December 7.
The commissioners said they had interviewed several candidates, prior to Monday’s regular meeting. “I will say this: we had several excellent people to put in for this job,” said Commissioner Jerry Locke. “I wish we could have all of them.
Commissioner Mike McClure added, “I wish they’d all come to work for us. There were some real nice interviews.”
“A lot of good comments, a lot of good ideas,” said Commissioner Kenny Becker, “and we learned a few things.”
DeLorenzo replaces Bryan Corn, who resigned last month after almost a year as EMS director. All other appointed county department heads were reappointed to their positions Monday, and Commissioner Kenny Becker was retained as board president.
