Culver Town Council to Update Capital Asset Inventory

Culver Clerk-Treasurer Karen Heim is working on gathering proposals in order to review the town’s capital assets.

Town Manager Jonathan Leist told the Culver Town Council members last week that it’s been over 10 years since an update has been done.

“We’ve tried to keep up as best we can, but we could really use some help with someone to come in and really go through all the old records, take off stuff that’s no longer being used or not out in locations and really give an accurate portrait of what we’ve got,” said Leist.

Council member Rich West added that will help with the budgeting process to replace major equipment if needed.

Council member Bill Cleavenger said it would be helpful in case a disaster occurs and a list of capital assets needs to be presented.

A review of proposals or a recommendation may be presented in future meeting.
