Current state budget discussions could mean less money coming into the West Central School Corporation.
West Central School Superintendent Don Street updated the school board on the topic Thursday night.
“I provided a projection on our school revenue based on the Indiana House Budget,” commented Street. “West Central would see a decline of almost $50,000 based on the proposed state budget.”
Street added that the enrollment at the corporation is down 20 students from the 2017-2018 school year. Enrollment directly affects funding coming into the corporation.
