Culver Clerk-Treasurer Karen Heim is now accepting applications for the town’s 50/50 sidewalk replacement program.
Heim told the Culver Town Council members that $8,000 is budget for the program this year.
(040119 heim…13 sec) “The reimbursement rate is $2.75 per square foot of sidewalk, $14 per linear foot for the curbs and $26 per linear foot of the curb/sidewalk combination which is where it would the curb butts up right against the sidewalk,” explained Heim.
Heim noted that the resident must identify the amount of sidewalk or combination of sidewalk and curb that will be replaced to ensure proper calculations.
Applications will be determined on a first come, first served basis.
