Oregon-Davis School Board Hires Three Teachers

After leading Knox High School’s alternative school program for its first year, Rhonda Cavinder is leaving the school corporation for Oregon-Davis. O-D Superintendent Dr. Don Harman says Cavinder has been hired as a junior/senior high school special education teacher.

She was one of three teachers hired during last week’s school board meeting. “We hired a Mr. Jerry Miller,” Harman adds. “He will be employed as a math teacher at the junior/senior high school. We also approved the position for an elementary teacher, a Ms. Brittany Fletcher.”

The Knox School Board officially considers Cavinder’s resignation as Redskin Academy teacher when it meets tonight at 6:30.
