A Plymouth man was arrested late Saturday night after officers were called to the scene of a property damage accident in the 100 W. block of Lake Avenue and Meadow Lane.
Marshall County Sheriff’s Department officers say the driver of the vehicle involved in the accident, identified as 69-year-old William Creech, was given a field sobriety test and later transported to the hospital for a chemical test. He was later booked into the Marshall County Jail on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a BAC of .15% or higher and operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-endangerment.
In a separate incident, a Knox man was reportedly found to be driving a vehicle under the influence in Plymouth. Just before 2 a.m. ET on Sunday, 30-year-old Danny Coldiron II was stopped in his vehicle in the area of Peach Road and 13th Road. Police say he was later taken to the hospital for a certified blood draw and was found to be almost two times over the legal limit of alcohol. He was booked into the Marshall County Jail on a preliminary charge of operating a vehicle with a BAC of .15% or more.
Suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
