Eastern Pulaski School Board to Meet Tonight

The Eastern Pulaski School Board will meet tonight as they continue to search for a new superintendent.

Dr. Gilbert Crimmins from Administrator Assistance is the interim superintendent where he will be discussing personnel changes for the upcoming school year, open positions that remain, an agreement for Special Education Services, and the transition concerning Special Education.

An update on the paving issue will also be addressed.  Cracked asphalt on the parking lots is the main concern after the project was only completed last year by Rieth-Riley crews.  Last year’s project involved resurfacing the driveways and most of the parking lots on the schools’ campus, along with curb and sidewalk repair at a cost of $2.4 million.  The corporation submitted a proposal to the company to work on the cracked asphalt and seal coating.

The three principals are also anticipated to give reports when the school board meets at 5:30 p.m. ET in the school’s Conference/Meeting Center.
