An update on a possible Pulaski County Courthouse or Justice Center project will be given to the public in a couple of weeks. The presentation will take place Tuesday, August 13 at 6:00 p.m. EDT at the courthouse in the circuit courtroom. Residents are expected to hear from Rowland Design, Indiana Landmarks, and the courthouse taskforce.
Indiana Landmarks is covering the cost of having Rowland Design look into ways to keep the courthouse in use, while also addressing the county’s facilities needs. The architectural firm is also exploring different options, including an addition to the Justice Center that was first proposed in December.
According to a recent post on the Pulaski County Government Facebook page, Rowland Design told county officials last week that it’s currently working on drawings. The firm is also putting together firmer cost estimates for the different scenarios.
