Knox Mayor Encourages Community to Come Out to American Graffiti Night

You can find live music, a classic movie and plenty of nostalgia at Wythogan Park in Knox this Saturday.

Knox Mayor Dennis Estok discussed the annual ‘American Graffiti Night’ event during this week’s city council meeting.

He stated, “It’s not a car show, it’s just a cruise-in. If you want to act like a teenager again, bring your old car and your sweetheart, watch the movie.”

Mayor Estok added that Quentin Flagg will be playing some vintage hits from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.

The 1973 classic American Graffiti will be shown once the band wraps up. The event is expected to conclude around 10 p.m.

If you don’t have a hot rod to show off, don’t fret; just bring along some blankets and chairs for seating.
