The Pulaski County Council members will meet in special session tonight.

The council members are expected to discuss the purchase of a time clock.  Auditor Laura Wheeler asked the commissioners last week to approve the purchase of the time clock for $22,000.  She stressed that she will save $20,000 in a special pricing discount, but the offer expires on Sept. 30.  The council will need to find funding tonight for the purchase as unanimously approved by the commissioners.

The advance meeting agenda noted that along with the time clock discussion, the 2020 county budget and Local Income Tax distribution will be discussed during tonight’s meeting.  No other matters are anticipated for discussion.

The special meeting of the Pulaski County Council will begin at 7 p.m. at the Pulaski County Highway Garage.
