Culver-Union Township EMS Director Announces Retirement

Culver-Union Township EMS Director Kathy Hart announced her retirement during Tuesday’s Culver Town Council meeting.

Her last day will be in January.  The Culver Town Council members expressed their appreciation for Hart’s years of service to the Town of Culver and wished her well in her future plans. 

In the meantime, the search is on for her replacement.  According to the employment notice, the EMS Director will supervise the on-duty EMS staff, maintain and develop the current EMS Delivery System, and act as a role model and mentor for the staff.

The director is required to work 48 hours per week on the first-out ambulance with the starting salary at approximately $48,000 depending on experience and qualifications.  Benefits are also offered. 

Applications will be accepted until 9 a.m. on Dec. 2, 2019.  Applicants are asked to complete a town application and provide a resume and cover letter to be considered for the position.
