Knox Man Arrested on Child Pornography Charges

Mitchell Patrick

A Knox man was taken into custody Thursday, Nov. 14 on suspicion of possessing child pornography.

Indiana State Police say the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children received a tip which led into an investigation by the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

As a result, 21-year-old Mitchell Patrick was arrested on charges of possession of child pornography.  He was arrested without incident following the execution of a search warrant at his residence that uncovered images of child pornography, according to Indiana State Police.

The Indiana State Police was assisted by the Indiana State Police Cyber Crimes Unit, Department of Homeland Security and Starke County Sheriff’s Department.

He remains in the Starke County Jail with no bond.

Suspects are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
