Body Safety Program Returns to Eastern Pulaski Schools

A program to help children stay safe from potential predators returns to Eastern Pulaski Schools today. The principals told the school board Monday that retired Police Sergeant Terry Hall will give his Body Safety presentations.

Age-appropriate talks will be given at all three schools. A session for parents was offered Tuesday night.

Winamac High School Principal Jeremy Tucker commented that the program has proved to be a good resource for students and a good value for the schools. Tucker said his staff expressed support for continuing it at the high school level during a leadership meeting Monday. He noted that every year, the school has several students reporting things that have happened to them.
