Winamac High School Principal Jeremy Tucker’s resignation was formally accepted by the Eastern Pulaski School Board Monday. Tucker submitted his resignation letter on February 21. He had been on paid administrative leave since January 24, as school officials investigated allegations of misconduct.

Winamac High School Principal Jeremy Tucker has been placed on paid administrative leave. In a statement Wednesday, Eastern Pulaski Superintendent Dara Chezem said the leave took effect January 24, due to allegations of misconduct. Chezem said the school district has launched a thorough investigation.

Outdoor learning labs were a topic of discussion during Monday’s Eastern Pulaski School Board meeting. Winamac High School Principal Jeremy Tucker said he wants to install a new outdoor classroom to be shared between the middle and high schools.

Eastern Pulaski School Board Extends Administrators’ Contracts, Recognizes Retirees

Some Eastern Pulaski school administrators have had their contracts extended by a year. Last week, the school board voted to extend the contracts of Elementary School Principal Jill Collins, Middle School Principal Ryan Dickinson, and Athletic Director Bill Ball through June of 2021, according to board documents. Board members also agreed to add 10 days to the contract of incoming High School Principal Jeremy Tucker.
