Indiana Reports Third COVID-19 Death

Indiana is reporting its third coronavirus death. The State Department of Health says the patient was from Marion County and was over the age of 60. The person had been hospitalized.

State Health Commissioner Dr. Kris Box says the toll that COVID-19 is taking on elderly residents is troubling to see. She urges Hoosiers to stay home if they’re sick and practice social distancing.

As of Friday afternoon, all of Indiana’s coronavirus deaths had been in the central part of the state, with two in Marion County and one in Johnson County.
