Indiana State Park Properties Suspending Entrance Fees amid COVID-19 Response

Tippecanoe River State Park

Indiana state park properties are temporarily suspending their entrance fees. The Department of Natural Resources says its state parks, forests, recreation areas, nature preserves, and fish and wildlife areas remain open, during the DNR’s response to the spread of coronavirus.

The DNR’s campgrounds, inns, and cabins are also open, but the DNR is offering refunds and waiving cancellation and transfer fees for reservations. Visitor centers, historic buildings, and many other enclosed buildings are closed, and property offices will restrict public access. Outdoor interpretive events may continue, following the Indiana State Department of Health’s guidance for gatherings.
