The Oregon-Davis School Corporation is putting together plans to educate and feed students while in-person classes are canceled. The school corporation will offer free sack lunches for its current students on March 17 through 20, March 30 through April 3, and April 6 through 9.
They’ll be available for pickup from 11:00 a.m. to noon CDT at the Hamlet Fire Station, Koontz Lake Fire Station, and Door 4 of the junior/senior high school. Each lunch will also include a breakfast for the next morning. Parents or guardians are being asked to let school officials know how many lunches they need per day and where they plan to pick them up by calling 574-867-2111.
Oregon-Davis has scheduled eLearning days for each Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday through April 9. However, no eLearning days will be held the week of March 23, due to spring break.
Oregon-Davis is also canceling all field trips through the end of the school year. Extracurricular activities are canceled through April 13.
