Oregon-Davis School Board Approves 2020-2021, 2021-2022 School Calendars

The Oregon-Davis School Board has finalized the calendars for the next two school years. Superintendent Dr. Don Harman says the only major change from this year’s calendar is that parent-teacher conferences will be held in the middle of the first and third quarters, rather than at the end.

“The philosophy there is that the teachers can meet with a student if they’re struggling,” Harman explains. “They’ll have three or four weeks to, hopefully, get their grades turned around for support at the end of the nine weeks.”

O-D’s 2020-2021 school calendar calls for a first day of class on August 6, while the 2021-2022 calendar has students starting on August 5. Both calendars put the last student day on May 20. Students will get a two-week holiday break and one week off for spring break. The calendars also include a few built-in make-up days, as well as the option to use eLearning days, if needed.
