Indiana COVID-19 Deaths Surpass 100

The number of COVID-19 deaths in Indiana has surpassed 100. The Indiana State Department of Health says 102 Hoosiers have died from the coronavirus as of Friday morning. More than 88 percent of those who’ve died were at least 60 years old. Over 59 percent were men.

Locally, 25 Marshall County residents have been tested for COVID-19, with four testing positive. Starke County has had two residents test positive, out of 22 who’ve been tested. Fifteen tests have been reported in Pulaski County, but so far, none of its residents have tested positive.

St. Joseph County is reporting 72 positive cases. LaPorte County’s had 17, and Jasper County has had 13. In all, more than 3,400 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Indiana.
