Indiana Launches Mental Health Resources Website

A website to help Hoosiers take care of their mental health was launched Monday. BeWellIndiana.org offers free, expert mental health resources put together by the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration Division of Mental Health and Addiction, according to FSSA Secretary Dr. Jennifer Sullivan.

“It will help Hoosiers manage their own mental health throughout the COVID-19 crisis, including links to trusted news sources, tips for staying healthy and safe at home, and access to addiction recovery support,” Sullivan said during state officials’ COVID-19 press conference Monday.

BeWellIndiana.org also features videos from mental health experts and self-assessments, which Sullivan said will help people determine whether they could benefit from professional support. While it will initially focus on COVID-19, the FSSA plans to keep updating the website with resources beyond the current pandemic.
