The Indiana Department of Transportation plans to close U.S. 35 just south of U.S. 30 in Hamlet for a thin bridge deck overlay.
The project is anticipated to begin on Monday, May 4 and be done at the beginning of June. All work is dependent of the weather.
The official detour around the construction is State Road 8, State Road 39 and U.S. 30.
