Winamac Park Board to Get Update on Park Project, Discuss Fairground Entrance

The Winamac Park Board will get an update on a few of its projects during a special meeting tonight. The old restrooms at the Town Park have been torn down to be replaced with new ones, and new equipment has been ordered for the toddler playground.

Board members will continue discussing the entrance to the fairgrounds in the back of the park, including the possible installation of concrete curbing in the area around the sign. The Winamac Park Board will also discuss the softball diamond, as well as the status of the budget and tax receipts.

Tonight’s meeting starts at 6:00 EDT at Winamac Town Hall. Attendance will be limited to 10 people due to COVID-19 concerns. Those wanting to attend are encouraged to join by phone instead by calling 574-205-5006.
