Culver Cleanup Day, Town-Wide Yard Sale Postponed

The Culver Town Council members will be rescheduling the town’s cleanup day and town-wide yard sales for later this summer.

With COVID-19 precautions in place, these town events will be rescheduled for the summer.  The council members would like to give residents a chance to take care of items that may have been discarded from spring cleaning or from observing the governor’s stay-at-home order.

During the council’s most recent meeting, the members talked about holding the yard sale during one weekend followed by the cleanup day the next weekend.  Items that didn’t sell could be discarded in the cleanup day event.  Those dates haven’t been set yet.

Additionally, Clerk-Treasurer Karen Heim is now accepting sidewalk project applications.  The applications may be emailed to Heim at kheim@townofculver.org.  Homeowners whose projects are selected will be reimbursed by the town at a rate of $2.75 per square foot for sidewalks, $14 per linear foot for curbs, and $26 per linear foot for a curb/sidewalk combination when they are not separated by lawn.
