Indiana Secures More PPE for Marketplace

The State of Indiana has received over 14 million pieces of personal protective equipment (PPE) from the private sector to release to businesses that need it in order to reopen and operate with safety protocols.

Indiana Economic Development Chief of Staff Luke Bosso gave that update during Friday’s press briefing hosted by Governor Eric Holcomb.  He also said the state has commitments for over 18 million pieces of PPE which will continue the state to supply the PPE Marketplace.

As of Friday, May 22, the state has delivered 20,000 bundles of PPE to Indiana businesses.  Over 70,000 bundles will be sent next month.  The bundles consist of face masks, hand sanitizer and face shields.
