Knox City Council to Consider COVID-19 Response Grant Administrator Proposal Tonight

The Knox City Council will continue working tonight on some of the procedural steps for its COVID-19 grant program for local businesses. Council members will decide whether to officially accept the Kankakee-Iroquois Regional Planning Commission’s proposal to serve as grant administrator for the funding distributed by the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs.

A peddler ordinance will be considered on second reading, and a fund transfer resolution will be up for the council’s approval. Tonight’s Knox City Council meeting starts at 7:00 at the Nancy J. Dembowski Community Center.
