Knox Mayor Dennis Estok issued an executive order update on Friday to address activity at the City of Knox park systems.
Mayor Estok asks that visitors utilize the rules of social distancing at all times during any activity.
Social gatherings of up to 100 people may take place while following the CDC social distancing guidelines.
The parks will be available for walking, hiking, running or biking.
Several areas in the parks will remain closed until further notice. The shelters will remain closed as well as the basketball courts, baseball and softball fields, dugouts, pickleball court, skate park, splash pad, playground equipment, and exercise equipment.
Mayor Estok reminds residents to wash hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, cough or sneeze into an elbow, avoid touching your face, stay more than six feet apart, and stay home if you’re sick.
