Marshall County Reports Second COVID-19 Death

A second Marshall County resident has died after testing positive for COVID-19. Sunday’s report from the Indiana State Department of Health showed that six more Marshall County residents have tested positive, bringing the total to 108. Starke County remains at 39 positive COVID-19 cases, while Pulaski County has 46.

The state as a whole is now up to 34,574 cases, 1,967 deaths, and 167 probable deaths where COVID-19 is believed to be a factor but there was no positive test. So far, more than half of the state’s COVID-19 deaths have been people who are at least 80 years of age.

Almost 65 percent of the Hoosiers who’ve had COVID-19 are believed to have recovered, according to the Regenstrief Institute’s analysis of COVID-19 cases.
