Governor Holcomb Extends Public Health Emergency to July 4

Governor Holcomb has extended Indiana’s public health emergency declaration to July 4. Holcomb signed an executive order Wednesday that renews the emergency for 30 days.

A separate executive order extends the deadline to renew professional licenses to June 30. It also reduces the amount of food a restaurant has to sell in order to maintain its liquor license, due to the restrictions on the number of diners.

The order also lets older youth stay in foster care beyond the maximum age during the public health emergency, so they can continue to take part in various support programs. A number of deadlines for the State Budget Agency to calculate local taxes have been extended, as well.
