The number of positive COVID-19 cases in Marshall County in Friday’s report from the Indiana State Department of Health rose slightly from Thursday’s numbers.
There are now 187 total cases in Marshall County which is an increase of 9 from Thursday. Starke County saw an increase in 3 cases to raise that total number to 42 and Pulaski County is at 50 total cases.
Patients are in varying stages of fighting the virus and recovering from it.
The Indiana State Department of Health said that 533 additional people statewide have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at the Indiana State Department of Health, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and private laboratories. The total number of cases statewide totals 36,578.
Another 27 people died of the novel coronavirus in Friday’s report bringing that total number to 2,078.
