A potential COVID-19 relief grant program for Pulaski County’s small businesses is expected to be discussed during tonight’s county commissioners meeting. The county is asking for $250,000 from the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs’ COVID-19 Response Program.
If the funding is approved, the Pulaski County Community Development Commission would oversee the application process for local businesses. A similar program is underway in the City of Knox.
The county commissioners are expected to hear comments tonight on the county’s grant application to the state and consider the proposed program guidelines. Tonight’s Pulaski County Commissioners meeting starts at 6:00 EDT. Attendance is limited due to COVID-19 concerns, but it can be viewed live on the Pulaski County, Indiana, Government Facebook page.
