Several changes are coming at the West Central School Corporation this summer and fall.
Superintendent Dan Zylstra said the school board approved the move of the Central Office in downtown Francesville to the school’s main campus on U.S. 421 between Medaryville and Francesville.
“We’re in the process now of moving those things,” commented Zylstra. “We’re still going to have the same P.O. Box and the same phone numbers to reach places, but we will physically be up at the school now which we think is going to provide a lot of efficiencies. It’s just going to be a lot tighter as an organization.”
He noted that the move is in line with the transition of the sixth grade class to the Elementary School which is another big change for those students coming into the 2020-2021 school year. The movement freed up some classroom space in the Middle/High School so the Central Office will be headquartered in that space.
