COVID-19 Case Numbers Jump Locally in Updated Report

The number of patients who have been diagnosed with COVID-19 jumped locally in Wednesday’s report from the Indiana State Department of Health.

The number of cases in Starke County jumped by five to a new total of 73, Pulaski County increased by four to a new total of 63 and Marshall County’s COVID-19 case total rose by three for a total of 412. 

Patients are in varying stages of recovery and fighting the virus.

Another 371 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19 throughout the state to bring that total to 45,952.  A total of 2,456 Hoosiers are confirmed to have died from COVID-19, an increase of eight from Tuesday’s report.
