Over 1,000 New COVID-19 Cases Reported Statewide

The Indiana State Department of Health announced that 1,011 additional residents in the state have been diagnosed with COVID-19. 

Marshall County’s positive COVID-19 case count increased by nine, compared to Thursday’s report.  The total number of cases in Marshall County is 695.  Starke County’s total case numbers increased by one to 143.  Pulaski County’s total case numbers remain at 69.

Almost 12,500 tests were reported to the Indiana State Department of Health, according to Friday’s report. 

The state reported a total of four additional people statewide who are confirmed to have died from COVID-19. 

Two testing sites are open at the Plymouth Wesleyan Church and at the Knox High School.  The sites will be open through Saturday, July 25 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. local time.  Any Indiana resident over the age of 12 is welcome to be tested for free.
