Pulaski County Junior Achievement, Food Finders Receive COVID-19 Relief Funding

COVID-19 relief is making its way to organizations serving Pulaski County. White County United Way says it’s distributed more than $42,000 to 11 nonprofit agencies through its Community Relief Fund.

Food Finders Food Bank and Pulaski County Junior Achievement are among the recipients. Junior Achievement will be using its share of the money to help cover the cost of moving its programs online and to offset the loss of revenues from the cancellation of its major fundraisers, according to the White County United Way’s website.

Nonprofit social service organizations serving Pulaski, Jasper, or White County is eligible to apply for funding through the White County United Way’s Community Relief Fund. Applications can be found at WhiteCountyUnitedWay.org/CommunityRelief. They’re reviewed on a monthly basis by a committee made up of representatives from all three counties.
