Today’s the Last Day for Pulaski County Businesses to Apply for COVID-19 Response Grant Funding

Pulaski County businesses have until 4:00 p.m. EDT today to apply for up to $10,000 in COVID-19 relief from the Community Development Commission.

The county has gotten $250,000 through the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs’ COVID-19 Response Program. The business attorneys from NC Planning said that the money will be used to give grants to qualifying businesses with 100 or fewer employees.

It will be up to the CDC to review applications and determine specific grant amounts for each business. The Kankakee-Iroquois Regional Planning Commission will then double check them to make sure they meet all of the state eligibility criteria, according to CDC Executive Director Nathan Origer. Last week, he also offered the county commissioners a chance to review the applications, but they felt the CDC and KIRPC would be sufficient.

Applications for Pulaski County’s COVID-19 small business grant can be found on the county’s website.
