The number of registered voters who are voting ahead of the November General Election continues to soar.
In Pulaski County, a total of 1,323 people have cast an early ballot in the Pulaski County Clerk’s Office as of Friday afternoon. Clerk JoLynn Behny said 610 mail absentee ballots were requested by the October 22 deadline and 461 of those have been returned.
Early in-person voting continues in Pulaski County Saturday, October 24 and Saturday October 31 at the Francesville Fire Station and at the Pulaski County Justice Center from 8 a.m. to noon ET.
Behny noted that another 1,400 people registered to vote in Pulaski County for the upcoming election.
In Starke County, 2,094 voters have gone to the Starke County Clerk’s office to vote in person as of Friday afternoon. Mail absentee ballot requests totaled 1,100 and 824 of those ballots have returned.
Early in-person voting in Starke County continues October 24 at the North Judson-Wayne Township Fire Department and at the Starke County Clerk’s Office from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. CT. Early voting continues at the Starke County Courthouse Monday through Friday next week from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. CT and at the Koontz Lake Association Building Thursday, October 29 and Friday October 30 from noon to 6 p.m. CT and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. CT. The Starke County Clerk’s Office will also be open for early in-person voting on Monday, November 2 from 8 a.m. to noon.
